Thrilling Moments Photography

Thrilling Moments Photography is a specialized photography and videography service dedicated to the amusement industry. From roller coaster launches to special events, we capture the energy, excitement, and emotion that makes theme parks magical.

What started in 2018 as Thrilling Moments Photography—a passion project documenting roller coasters and theme parks—has grown into a professional media service. We’ve evolved from weekend hobby shoots to providing photography, videography, and marketing content for parks across the country.

We’re more than just photographers and videographers—we’re theme park enthusiasts who understand the industry inside and out. We know what makes a great shot, what resonates with audiences, and how to tell your park’s story in a way that drives engagement and excitement.

Jack Lathrop

Founder & Lead Photographer

Jack started taking pictures at a young age. In 2017, he took a camera to a theme park for the first time and fell in love with capturing roller coasters in unique ways. Since then, he has traveled around the country constantly visiting and photographing theme parks and roller coasters as he can. In 2018, he founded Thrilling Moments Photography, and from 2020 to 2021 he cohosted the Twisted Travelers Podcast. He started working with Upstop Media in 2022. Outside of the themed entertainment industry, Jack is an avid bowler, writer, musician, hiker, and all-around nerd. Jack is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business with a focus on marketing at Tennessee Tech University. He is always looking for his next shot!
